BWF is a high-quality aniline leather without a pigmented finish. Since this leather is dyed in the barrel and has no additional pigment applied to it, all differences in color and other natural characteristics of leather like scarring or horn thrusts remain intact. This gives hillmann. BWF a unique, natural look and feel.

A fast-occurring, typical patina effect, a darkening when under the effect of sunlight and signs of usage are distinguishing qualities of this leather.

For cleaning this leather can either be wiped with a damp piece of cloth or a damp sponge. Afterwards one can use a leather grease to keep the leather waterproof and smooth.
